WCCO says Gov. BridgeFail is not running for re-election. No, no I wouldn’t think so, not after all the ways in which he mucked up Minnesota beyond all recognition.
Somebody eventually has to raise taxes so as to restore necessary services. If we don’t turn Minnesota around ASAP there will be hell to pay and not just in the form of failed infrastructure.
And I absolutely guarantee he won’t get any traction out of Iowa. Too lefty for Rep. Steve King and the evangelicals, too heartless for the moderates.
UPDATE: Over at Hullabaloo, dday thinks Pawlenty announced early to simplify things when he refuses to certify Al Franken after the Supreme Court hands down the obvious ruling.
Another mistake. Iowans in the northern tier of counties saw all those negative ads and I suspect their opinion of Norm Loserman is even lower than that of Minnesotans.
UPDATE: Great take from CharlieQ.

Memphis Burger King puts its politics on its signboard.
I know I sure as hell wouldn’t eat in any dive where the owner sticks their politics into their customers faces.
Back when I still ate pizza I stopped going to the closest decent pizza parlor because they proudly displayed a picture of George. W. Bush. No clue if they ever figured out how damaging that was to their business.
My restaurant client’s boneheaded partner stuck a BC04 bumper sticker in their window and I still find nasty comments about it online five years later.
Food and politics do not mix but why does the right get so jihadi about it? Talk radio, imho. Talk radio isn’t just about news stories, talk radio is the choreographer for countless millions of sad lives, a gospel for them who’d rather hate others than make an effort to educate or in any way improve themselves.

Those Burger Kings are all located in Midtown Memphis, which is basically the closest thing you’ll find to San Francisco in the South.
The MIC Company (the franchisee) couldn’t possibly have picked a worse place to advocate their ignorance. Rest assured, they are already losing business over those signs.
