In other breaking news the Iowa State Fair has announced that a butter sculpture of a moonwalking Michael Jackson will be displayed at this summer’s fair next to the butter cow.
The article also says that the Jackson 5 played at the ’71 Iowa State Fair, so yeah, I saw Michael just after I graduated, not before.
I really can’t explain that and won’t even try.

A commenter named paganda has mentioned Wellstone and assassination three time on the Strib comments section and it has been deleted every time. compared to what the right is spewing, this is pure censorship and unacceptable.

I am sure that there have been well over 1000 comments on this article. I know that at least 4 of mine have been deleted. Let me assure the Strib that I have documented each deletion and have statistical proof of censorship based on bias. Many of us have said similar things and have watched the comment be deleted. We are also aware of the bogus claims from the right that they are more subject to the same repression. The proof is in the numbers. The Strib is definitely a right wing organ of propaganda and shame on the individuals that work and perpetrate it.
