Lifetime of links again. I am only as far a Missouri. Rep Russ Carnahan is the son of possibly assassinated Gov Mel Carahan. Actually, quite a politically involved family. Oh and he has Gephardt’s old seat
The “Angry Mob” sign is an ironic symbol of those who want free speech and then say its not fair that they are considered violent.
One could have sign that says “Potential Obama Assassin”, to me, the transparency crossed the line.

Wow, is all I can say about D J Leary hanging it up.

But it’s not hard to understand. He’s old, he’s civil, and he’s not tearing anyone down. For him to be attacked like he is must be incomprehensible to him. From what I’ve seen of Leary, he’s much more about positively promoting Democrats than he is about tearing down Republicans. For him to be treated like the Strib trolls treat him is really rude. He’s not dishing it out, but he’s expected to take it. All you can do is take your bat and ball and go home under those circumstances.

Wow, was what I could only say because it actually angers me to no end. I don’t want these assholes to feel empowered in anyway
I do not blame him for retiring, either.
If there was complete light on who is actually commenting, it would be very obvious that a small group of people using multiple pseudonyms are causing most of the trouble. In other words, a very cowardly and pathetic group of losers are trying to forstall natural human progress.

UpTake video.
Betty McCollum Town Hall on July 6 2009. Civil meeting with no wing nuts shouting people down. Ideas and opinions are being expressed though the audio is poor.
Desperate times call for desperate measures from the Health Insurance Lobby. They just were not organized for this one or maybe they realized that this kind of thing may put them out of excessive profits.

That and you don’t mess with a very powerful subcommittee chair. McCollum won’t get tea-rupted because they’re too busy lobbying her.

(what kind of angry mob comes with a sign that says, “ANGRY MOB”?)
A) One made up of literalists.
B) One made up of people bereft of imagination.
C) Not really angry, just wingnut morans.
D) Bought and paid for.

Tristero was off base and the reference was to Steve Reich and not at all pertinent. Other than that, it wasn’t worth reading.

Argh! Talk about a brain fart. I only linked to that because he mentioned Steve Reich.
